Refund and Cancellation Policy
How cancellations, refunds, project pauses, and completed work are handled.
Effective date: July 13, 2026
Client Cancellation
A client may request cancellation in writing. The client remains responsible for deposits, approved expenses, and work completed through the cancellation date.
Completed work, delivered services, planning, discovery, reserved scheduling time, and approved third-party expenses are generally non-refundable.
Refund Calculation
When a refund is appropriate, KAELIX may deduct the value of work performed, reserved time, non-refundable processor fees, approved purchases, licenses, and other project expenses.
KAELIX Cancellation
KAELIX may end or refuse a project because of nonpayment, abusive conduct, unlawful requests, repeated failure to cooperate, security concerns, conflicts of interest, or material breach of an agreement.
If KAELIX ends a project for reasons not caused by the client, any refund will be based on amounts paid for work that was not performed.
Chargebacks
Clients should contact KAELIX before initiating a payment dispute so both parties have an opportunity to review project records and attempt a resolution.
Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in suspension of services and recovery efforts permitted by law.
